Simplistically, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a type of hypnotherapy that was developed by modeling the way successful psychotherapists communicated with their clients. NLP shifts unconscious programming by allowing the practitioner to get into the mind of their client by utilizing the client’s language, tools, and techniques. 

NLP is very powerful and can be used to reprogram habits and behaviours not serving the client. Many NLP techniques work best in person.

Psychologist Daniel Goleman defined Emotional Intelligence (EI) using a five-part framework: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. People can be at various levels of mastery in each area, and the score of those provides their level of Emotional Intelligence. People with a high EI understand their emotions and don’t let their feelings rule them.

EI oftens determines how successful a person is in business and life.  Increasing one’s EI can result in greater job and relationship stability, increased opportunities, and clearer decision-making abilities.

A mentor assists those wishing to follow a similar path in life or career to shortcut lessons by sharing their experiences, including failures and success formulas.

In coaching, a mentor can also be a coach at a higher credential level who assists the up and coming coach through supervising some of their coaching sessions and telling them how to improve their skills.

Leah serves as a Business and Spiritual Mentor to those clients requests this type of support.  She is also a Certified Mentor Coach.

An incarnated spiritual guide is someone who assists you in aligning with your true nature. They also provide insights and resources to help you achieve fulfillment on your chosen path.

Not to be confused with a spiritual teacher who will train you on a certain way to practice, or a guru, who expects reverence or worship of them as a spiritual being in return for providing guidance and/or teaching spirituality. Spiritual guides believe in the sovereignty of all beings.

There are also spirit guides, which are beings in other realms who wish to assist with your growth and development.

A medical medical intuitive is someone who uses their psychic abilities to identify issues within the body. A medium is a person who uses their psychic abilities to communicate with beings not incarnated in the physical world. Most people think being a medium means channeling the dead from the beyond. That is one form of mediumship, but mediums can also speak to someone’s Higher Self which is located in the astral plane, or angels, or ascended masters, or darker entities.
